As authentic French lineage restaurants named as S.S.A.W. (Spring germinates Summer・Autumn crystalizes Winter), with French Executive Chefs, consist of four themes: SS Bar、SS Pâtisserie、AW Restaurant、AW Café. • In September, Shao Yung-Tien, the founder of YUIMOM GROUP, who had conducted business for 30 years, started his creative journey as he tried to draw a painting to encourage the younger generations. His debut exhibition, Shao Yung-Tien: Free School of Painting was presented and showcased at the ALIEN Art Centre.

• From February to May, ALIEN Art collaborated with the Frankfurt Museum of Applied Arts, Pforzheim Jewellery Museum, German Goldsmith House Hanau in presenting Franz Bette: Der rote faden; Robert Pan: The Way of Seeing; and the parallel exhibition; and collaborated with the National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet in France in presenting Les couleurs du Ch’an．Hommage à Hsiao Chin.

• Silks Club won the international competition award of the IES 2018 Illumination Awards of Merit IES (The Illumination Engineering Society).

• In January, Silks Club won the international competition award of the D.E.S.I.G.N. Hotels 2018 Best Cutting-edge, Asia Best Designed Hotel Award.

• Silks Club opened grandly, attracted massive visits of global tourists, and created international visibility for Kaohsiung. Ｍeanwhile, YUIMOM GROUP introduced the Japanese Michelin-derived restaurants "Ukai-tei" as well as "Dassai Bar" into the culinary art of the Silks Club, as their first overseas bases.


• Baotai Yiju, near the Asia New Bay Area and the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying), was successfully launched.

• From February to November 2018, ALIEN Art embarked on the reconstruction project of the Kin-Ma Military Hostel; at the same time, the team cooperated with art organizations in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.: collaborated with the Frankfurt Museum of Applied Arts in Germany to plan Franz Bethe: Red X line; launched the space installation project of James Turrell, a light and space dynamic artist of the United States; partnered with Hong Kong artist Kingsley Ng to create a site-specific project at the ALIEN Art Centre. Overall, ALIEN Art committed to responding to contemporary issues in Taiwan and those across the international level.

• From November 2016 until January 2017, ALIEN Art acquired the development project of Kin-Ma Military Hostel. “The Kin-Ma Reconstruction Project" aims to inject funds into the environment of artistic creation, and to promote the cultural and historical value through developing tourism. A signing ceremony and a press conference were held.

• In November, CEO Yaman Shao established ALIEN Art co. ltd.


• From 2015 till November 2016, introduced ART+COM and Olafur Eliasson’s installation art was introduced to Silks Club by ALIEN Art, and then the team launched the “Emerging Artist Programme” in collaboration with eight academy of art in Taiwan, nurturing the young generation.
